Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)has determined it necessary to purchase HAAS Large Frame Lathe, Model #ST-40L with multiple options for add-ons.

The FAA Intends to single source to Phillips Corporation Federal Division for the HAAS Large Frame Lathe Model #ST-40L with add-ons.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. ADB Safegate is the only approved manufacturer for this baselined system. The control equipment is designed to interface with the existing installed lighting systems.
The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 333248, All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees.
