NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT
The Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO) intends to award a Single Source Purchase Order to ICR, Inc., 6200 South Main Street Suite 200, Aurora, Colorado 80016, for TORUK MAX (TMX) Counter Unmanned Aircraft System. This system is required to support a critical operational exercise. Government owned systems are currently being utilized to support real world events tied to the declared emergency at the southern U.S. border. In order to meet the urgent need and short timeline of this exercise, ICR Inc. is the only company able to successfully provide the necessary support.
SAIO will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).
The proposed contract action is Single Source only.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
