Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis to Frontgrade Technologies for the acquisition of ARSR-4 Rotary Joint Search Cavities, part number 21337/1, to support the ARSR-4 system. These search cavities will be used to replenish serviceable stock levels to support the repair of the 17001 ARSR4 Rotary Joint.
In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. Saab, Inc. owns all proprietary data rights proprietary information necessary to conduct manufacture, repair, and test of these assets.
A market survey (6973GH-25-MS-00176) was posted to the SAM.gov web site on May6th, 2025 and closed on May 20th, 2025 No responses were received in response to the market survey.
The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 332991 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with size standard is 1250 employees.
