Over 95% of City of Tampa facilities, across multiple departments, currently utilize Scotsman equipment. For the past 25 years, the City has been afforded the opportunity to purchase Scotsman ice makers at wholesale prices directly from United Refrigeration, Inc. (URI), the exclusive factory-authorized distributor and agent for Scotsman Ice Systems on Florida-s West Coast. Facility Management, at City Center, is strategically located within a 4.5-mile radius of URI-s West Coast distributorships. URI maintains a robust inventory of Scotsman ice machines, parts, and other frequently used equipment to meet the ongoing needs of Municipal, Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR), Tampa Police Department (TPD), and Parks & Recreation (P&R) facilities. Scotsman provides factory certified training for our Facility Management technicians through their local distributor, United Refrigeration. This localized training ensures that our technicians are kept abreast of the latest upgrades, servicing techniques and bulletins.
