Description:
Beginning January 1, 2026 the City of Tampas Economic Opportunity Department will be taking over maintenance of the Tampas Economic Dashboard, which is currently being updated by Bloomberg Associates. The Tampa Economic Dashboard was exclusively designed and maintained by Assemblage Consulting, which possesses unique expertise in its architecture, data ingestion processes, deployment mechanisms, and maintenance routines. The codebase, update schedules, and data integrations are highly specialized and neither publicly available nor documented in a manner that would allow a third party to manage or migrate the system without extensive reverse engineering or redevelopment.Given the systems complexity and its critical role for the City of Tampa, partnering with the original developer remains the most cost-effective and efficient approach to ensuring uninterrupted service and a successful migration. No other vendor has the necessary expertise, access to the source code, or operational familiarity with the platform to perform these services without introducing additional costs and risks to the City. Assemblage has quoted the City $10,000.00 for the migration of the Tampa Economic Dashboard to city owned infrastructure.
