In accordance with FAR 6.302-5, this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award under a Firm Fixed Price contract as a sole source procurement for the following requirement to Alliant Enterprises, Inc. pursuant to 38 USC § 8127(c) and VAAR 819.7007. Alliant Enterprises is an authorized distributor and the only one found able to meet the Non-Manufacturer Rule requirement for a set-aside or direct award. This procurement represents the second part of a full project for a construction project for the Emergency Department that will require additional boom and light equipment. The first part of the procurement project included the purchase of Skytron booms and lights with five-stack mount, position to carry multiple equipment, displays, and lights. It additionally included a 2nd arm as a source of power/gas, flatscreen displays or X-ray shield. A 3rd arm included surgical lights centered over the patient providing easy positional around the surgical site. No other brands have been found to be compatible with the Skytron equipment purchased during the first procurement purchase. - Documents:
