SPECIAL NOTICE: 36C24925Q0350Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced contract to B2H Consulting Group (B2HCG), 2039 Morgan Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and on behalf of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with B2HCG. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that B2HCG is the only responsible source that can provide the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and products for the ACIST equipment. The letter from the manufacturer shall state that the contractor is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The maintenance shall be provided by original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-certified technicians and shall use only OEM-approved replacement parts and proprietary software.
