Description
This requirement is for the proprietary material procurement and labor for the replacement of the Upper Boom Assembly and replacement of outdated leveling cables of Altec utility truck. A safety and operational issue identified a potential failure of the upper boom assembly. Failure of this component could cause serious injury or loss of life.
Due to the nature of this repair, it is a requirement for ALTEC Inc. to perform the needed repairs. Removal, material purchase, and overhaul of the upper boom, which requires the upper boom removed from the chassis and replaced with new parts provided by the Altec. After the successful replacement, the boom is to be reinstalled and operationally checked for proper function. Additionally, Altec will replace Leveling Cables to include all faulty accessories associated with this repair.
