NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs, NCA Contracting Services Office (NCO), located at 18434 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA. 22172 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The intended Contractor is the sole provider of services for the warrantied irrigation system at Black Hills National Cemetery.Work consists of monthly inspection, reporting and maintenance, and repairs of the irrigation system located at the Black Hills National Cemetery, 20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785, hereafter referred to as BHNC, Cemetery, VA, or Government. BHNC requires the manufacture/provision and installation of concrete grave liner in accordance with National Cemetery Administration standards.This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for 3/15/2025 with an anticipated value of $211,000.00The proposed period of performance shall be from March 15, 2025 through March 14, 2025 with four 1 year option year periods.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 327390 Other Concrete Product Manufacturing 500 employee This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government....
