This notice is being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.10l(a)(2) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Installation and Technology Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), 6472 Integrity Court Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Clinisy-s, Inc, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718, to provide one (1) twelve month with the addition of one (1) ordering period Brand Name Only Clinisy-s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in accordance with the attached specifications for the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) - Chemical Biological Center (CBC). The Clinisy-s software required is tailored to DEVOCOM-CBC Environmental Monitoring Laboratory (EML) infrastructure. The software is required for the proper operation of laboratory equipment that conducts time sensitive health and safety monitoring for chemical agent operations at CBC and other field locations. Clinisy-s Inc is the only manufacturer that provides a product that meets the specific technical requirements, system configurations, data manipulations, report formats and system compatibility characteristics required by DEVCOM-CBC. No other software solution can meet the Government's need without unacceptable delays in fulfilling the requirement and/or substantial developmental costs.
