NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source, the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit on a sole source basis to Power Systems West LLC for the supply, placement, testing/commissioning, and shipment of (1) 1500KW Kohler KD1500 Emergency Diesel Generator Set. Power Systems West LLC is the authorized regional distributor and service provider for Kohler industrial generators in Idaho State. Onsite work will be performed at the Dworshak National Fish Hatchery (DNFH). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 335312, Motor and Generator Manufacturing.
This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and requests for such a document will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing to Mary.L.Seiner@usace.army.mil no later than 11:00 AM PDT on October 14, 2025. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements.
