NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Shiprock Service Unit, Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center, intends to make a sole source award to Cepheid, Inc., for preventative maintenance service and technical support to be provided to the Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center for the GeneXpert Xpress system.
The Period of Performance will be for twelve (12) continuous months beginning from the Date of Award with a Base plus four (4) Option Periods.
This award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement, 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).
The Contractor, Cepheid, Inc., is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services of providing preventative maintenance technical support services for Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center-s Laboratory equipment GeneXpert Xpress system.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 02:30 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) on May 08, 2025, the contract will be issued without further notice.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
Responses should be received by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
