NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole-source firm-fixed priced award contract, to Franklin Young International, INC, 1042 N. Mountain Ave #310, Upland, California, 91786.A sole source procurement will be issued to Franklin Young International as they are the vendor capable of fully performing the delivery, installation and training and due to the specialized equipment, all work for the duration of the contract shall be performed by authroized Franklin Young International. This award requires the contractor to provide the IVIS Spectrum CT 2 Imaging System (Item # CLS158797), the high throughput kit (Item # CLS148874), the rodent anesthesia systems (Item # CLS146797), field training (Item # 12284), installation and extended warranty for the procured items at TVHS VA Medical Center, located in Nashville, TN. The IVIS Spectrum CT 2 Imaging System with associated equipment is used for VA related research.
