Description
The Western Area Power Administration, Headquarters intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis Bell 407 GXi specific flight training for WAPA aviation pilots through the Bell Training Academy (BTA). The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Annual flight training requirements in the WAPA Flight Manual specifically state we will use BTA for training on our Bell 407GXi Helicopters. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received within 3 calendar days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government-s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Questions concerning this notice may be directed to the Contract Officer, Benjamin Siltman at siltman@wapa.gov.
