Description
Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (NAVSUP FLC PS), in support of Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC), Yokosuka, intends to solicit and negotiate a firm-fixed-price supply-type contract on a sole source basis with RIX Industries. The requirement is for an OEM-certified field service representative to perform maintenance, repair and programming of Low-Pressure Air Compressors (LPACs) on a US Navy Vessel in accordance with the Statement of Work. A Justification and Approval (J&A) for the use of other than full and open competition has been prepared in accordance with FAR 13.501(a).
The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is 05/14/2025, with a closing date on or about 05/21/2025. This requirement is being procured using FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the SAM.gov website: https://sam.gov/content/home.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
