Description
Subject to final approval, Fiscal Service Procurement on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) intends to make award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. for the purchase of maintenance service for existing PerkinElmer lab equipment.
PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc is a manufacturer of scientific laboratory equipment. TTB relies on the maintenance service PerkinElmer provides assist them in meeting their mission requirements.
PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc. is the sole provider for the services required by TTB for the maintenance of PerkinElmer lab equipment.
This acquisition is for the maintenance service of existing PerkinElmer lab equipment. The maintenance service needed to maintain upkeep on PerkinElmer lab equipment. The lab equipment needing maintenance are the autosampler which is currently used in conjunction with a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Both the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer and autosampler are PerkinElmer instruments and only PerkinElmer provided Gold and Bronze service plans can be used.
Responses to this request must be submitted no later 9:00am ET on January 23, 2023 and must be submitted electronically to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, with the subject line of “ATTN: JS/MH SS-TTB-23-024”. Responses must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows their capabilities to provide the above requirement. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet these requirements, is more advantageous to the Government, or is not received by the aforementioned deadline, TTB, will make award on a sole source basis to PerkinElmer Health Sciences, Inc.
