- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed price service contract to Drake Controls-West, LLC. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be from approximately 22 December 2025 through 24 February 2026.
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - REPAIR OF SPARE EDG GOVERNORS
This requirement is for the repair of two (2) spare Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Governors. Drake Controls - West LLC., is the original equipment manufacturers- (OEM) authorized service provider for the EDG Governors. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small Business Size Standard of $12,500,000. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is J061: Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Electric Wire And Power Distribution Equipment.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10 December 2025 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
