This is a Notice of Intent to make a Sole Source Award for Sleep Lab services to the Nihon Kohden America, LLC, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Sill, Oklahoma, intends to award a SOLE SOURCE to Nihon Kohden America, LLC. 15353 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92618. This requirement provides maintenance of the ATO certification for existing Government-owned PSG and EEG equipment currently in place at the Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Fort Sill, OK. The PSG and EEG equipment allow for expanded capabilities associated with testing and diagnosis of sleep and brain related disorders. Nihon Kohden America, LLC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the proposed equipment and do not have any authorized companies they allow to service their equipment. As such, they are the only company capable of providing the services needed.
This requirement shall be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621498, size standard $25.5 million. This proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all capabilities received within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to his notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
