The Government intends to award a modification to the current Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for sustainment and support service requirements for an extended ordering period of five (5) years. The contractor shall provide test and inspection (T&I), repair, technical support services, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) material inventory replenishment for STARLite ER assets and program objectives.
The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), 150808 West Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, MD, 21090, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
