Description:
SPECIAL NOTICE: The United State Coast Guard, Great Lakes District Regional Support Team (RST) intends to award one (1) sole source purchase order on a basis of other than full and open competition (under FAR authority 6.302) to Gartner Refrigeration Company for replacement of Station Duluth boat house heaters per scope of work (SOW).
This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.
This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(2) implemented by the FAR Subpart 6.302-1 entitled “Unusual and compelling urgency”.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210 FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICES. The PSC for this procurement is J045 MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- PLUMBING, HEATING, AND WASTE DISPOSAL EQUIPMENT. The procurement type will be a firm-fixed price.
