TheDepartment of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:Robin Hill FarmRES-CARE, INC. The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to negotiate a contract with Robin Hill Farm, 55 Donovan Rd, Hillsborough, NH 03244, for long term traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Acquired Brain Injury/Disorder (ABI) rehabilitative services for veterans with moderate to severe TBI/ABI in a state-licensed residential care setting for VAMC Manchester, NH. The contractor will provide highly specialized and individualized rehabilitative services with a focus on community reintegration of Veterans with TBI/ABD service-connected disabilities. Due to: (1) the continuity of care concerns for this group of highly specialized, disabled TBI Veterans;(2) Robin Hill Farm s specialized expertise in this area of specialized rehabilitative services for the community reintegration of Veterans with TBI service-connected disabilities; and(3) the clinical determination that relocating these Veterans to a new location with unfamiliar staff may have severe and negative impacts on the health and rehabilitation of these TBI Veterans, possibly affecting patient safety, Robin Hill Farm is the only vendor that can provide the services to these TBI/ABI VeteransSince the intent to procure is on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities on SAM.gov.The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and noother supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.The NAICS 623110.
