The Indian Health Service - Nashville Area plans to procure on a sole source basis, services necessary for the detection, prevention, treatment, and recovery of the Behavioral Health effects of COVID-19 on the community; as well as plan, prepare for, promote, distribute, administer, monitor, track, and help mitigate COVID 19. In addition the contractor will provide access to follow-up care for any identified patients or have access to direct resources where follow-up care can be provided and provide appropriate resources for identified patients who test “positive” for COVID-19;
The response close date of the notice for this requirement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). This acquisition will be processed IAW FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform these services.
The intent is to complete a sole source award directly to Tuscarora Health Center, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Non-Tribal member access to the Tuscarora Territory is limited to Niagara Falls Memorial Health Center Employees. Due to how the Tuscarora Health Center is uniquely sutiated within the community, This Sole Source will allow IHS to provide Lockport Service Unit patients access to direct resources where follow-up care can be provided. All inquiries received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government.
