NOTICE: The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) s Intends to Sole Source the Demolition and Reconstruction of a retaining wall for the Santa Fe National Cemetery, classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction to C&C Contractors, LLC (SAM UEI # Z6ZVR3MXC9L4), IAW FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. __________________________________________________________________ Services require contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, equipment and services and perform and complete all work to reconstruct retaining wall project as required by drawings and specifications. The agency has determined that the need to sole source applies as an unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition; and delay in award of the contract would/could result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. The current wall is falling apart from the top and is in high risk of catastrophic failure, which may result in serious injury or death to anyone in the area, and could be a grave financial burden on the Government. The agency intends to award this on or about mid-March 2025. The proposed period of performance is 426 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, interested sources may submit a capability statement to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 12:00pm EST on January 21, 2025.
