The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions, 2615 Port Industrial Dr. Suite 405, Jacksonville, FL 32226.The contract will be for Veterans Health Supply Solutions to provide Procept Bio-Robotics Aquambeam Handpieces for upcoming procedures at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (GLAVAHS) in Los Angeles, CA.Determination of this single source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 Only Once Responsible Source and in conjunction with VAAR 918.70008. No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 U.S.C. A§ 1901 and as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and 13.501(a). It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only vendor capable of providing the required items, as they are the only authorized SDVOSB vendor to sell the Procept Bio-Robotic products needed for this requirement. The manufacturer has only one authorized seller of their products.Procept Bio-Robotics Aquabeam Handpieces are part of a larger integrated Aquabeam Robotic System, which enables the precise and rapid removal of prostate tissue. The Greater Los Angeles VA needs these Aquambeam Handpieces, which are vital for upcoming scheduled and unscheduled procedures in the operating room at the facility.
