  • Description:
  • Expression of Interest are invited for Interactive Knowledge Portal for Infrastructure Practitioners QII Reference Guide - Interactive Knowledge Portal for Infrastructure Practitioners Description: The G20 Principles for Quality Infrastructure Investment (QII) were developed to provide a voluntary framework to assist countries in maximizing the economic, social, environmental, and developmental impact of infrastructure.Β  In 2016 the World Bank and the Government of Japan established the QII Partnership as a vehicle for knowledge generation, advocacy, and the integration of the QII principles into World Bank operations.Β Given the breadth of the QII principles, the dispersion of evolving knowledge across the different topics, and the relative nascence of the Principles and the Partnership, there is a need for greater awareness of the concept of QII, what it means in practice, as well as easier accessibility to the wealth of knowledge across the QII principles (life cycle costing, resilience, inclusive design, etc).Β In this context, the team is seeking to recruit a firm with specialist expertise in designing and developing accessible, user-friendly knowledge content.Β  Specifically, the firm will lead the design of an online β€œQII Reference Guide” that will enable users to learn about QII and access best practice tools, case studies and other knowledge resources.Β  As part of this exercise, the firm will develop supporting visual and/or interactive content to assist users in their learning.Β  This material will also provide the basis for a subsequent, modular QII training program which will closely follow the structure - and utilize the materials developed under - the Reference Guide. The selected firm should meet the following criteria: β€’ Learning Program Development Expertise - Demonstrated experience in the development of learning materials, preferably within disciplines related to the topics detailed under the six QII Principles and/or infrastructure development and finance. E-learning specific experience an advantage. - Expertise in learning and instructional design β€’ Website Content Development Experience - Ability to design content for websites that is user-friendly and logically structured with the intent to convey knowledge in an interactive and accessible way. β€’ Communication and Teamwork Skills: - Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner. - Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts to transform dense technical content into a curated online space that effectively communicates technical content. β€’ Innovation and Adaptability: - Willingness to adopt innovative approaches and technologies in the development of the Reference Guide. - Capability to design a user-friendly and accessible Reference Guide, considering the needs of various stakeholders. - Graphic design and layout expertise for effective presentation.
