Project Title: Internet BPA for Barksdale Air Force Base

The 2nd Contracting Squadron, Barksdale AFB, hereby submits an intent to award a sole source notice. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-priced contract to Cebridge (dba Optimum). under FAR 13.106-1(b)for internet services for Barksdale AFB, LA. This procurement action is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
An extended description of the product being acquired is as follows:
Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana is procuring a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to streamline the acquisition of essential internet services. Recognizing the fluctuating yet persistent demand for internet connectivity across the base, this agreement will provide a flexible solution for procuring services tailored to the specific and often unpredictable needs of various departments and units. To ensure continuity and leverage existing infrastructure, this BPA will be directly awarded to Cebridge, operating as Optimum, as a sole source provider. Optimum currently serves as the internet service provider for the base, and this agreement will streamline future procurement and management of these vital services.
