- Description : The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) requires a Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and parts, necessary to calibrate and repair radiation equipment. The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant Program (WIPP) is a United States Department of Energy program that safely transports low-level radioactive transuranic (TRU) waste from Livermore, CA, out of California to the long-term storage, WIPP facility in New Mexico. The Contractor is responsible for calibrating and repairing all radiation equipment along the California Transportation Route.Please see attached document for further details.
