The reason for this amendment is to accomplish the following:
Extend the Question and Answer Period and extend the Bid Opening Date as stated. The reason for this extension is to allow additional time for obtaining the necessary permits. As a result of questions received to date, and due to recent flooding events there will be another amendment forthcoming to allow for any additional damages that may be needed for this repair work. The Government anticipates a Revised Plan Set will also be issued in the near future. See following pages for details.
