Description
An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity ordering agreement is an agreement pursuant to which thecontractor will perform a series of individual projects at different Postal Service facilities. Thesolicitation, and resulting contract includes, by reference, a Construction Task Catalog® (CTC) producedand maintained by GordianAll unit prices are based on local labor, material and equipment prices to perform the activity. Thesolicitation, and resulting contract also includes Technical Specifications which set forth the quality ofworkmanship and quality of materials required for the service tasks. Offering Firms responding to thissolicitation will propose Adjustment Factors to be applied to the CTC Schedule.The Adjustment Factors will apply to each unit price in the CTC, except for any line item specificallynoted otherwise. As projects are initiated by the Postal Service, the contractor will participate in a JointScope Meeting, at which the scope of work for the individual project will be explained to the contractor,and give the contractor an opportunity to ask questions, inspect the site and make recommendationswith regards to means and methods, scheduling and other aspects of the project as circumstancesdictate.The Postal Service will then prepare a Detailed Scope of Work and issue a Request for Proposal to thecontractor. The contractor will prepare a Price Proposal Package for the project including, among otheritems, a Price Proposal and a schedule. In general, the Price Proposal will be prepared by identifying theproper construction tasks from the CTC and multiplying the pre-set unit prices by the quantity requiredand by the appropriate Adjustment Factors.The Postal Service will review the Price Proposal Package and may request changes. Once an acceptableWork Order Package has been submitted, the Postal Service Contracting Officer will issue a Notice toProceed for the project.A separate work order will be issued for each project.
