IRA NEW FORK RIVER, SHEEP FENCEThe work includes converting an existing barbed wire fence to a wildlife friendly fence. This fence consists of two segments: New Fork River Fence, and Sheep Fence on New Fork. The total length of the two segments combined is approximately 3.52 miles. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that livestock does not cross through the opening between when the old fence is removed, and the new fence is constructed. Period of Performance for this fence is 08/15/25-11/15/25. Specifics for Segment No. 1 - New Fork River Fence: Location: T31N, R109W, Sections 21, 28, and 33 There are approximately 14,927 linear feet in this segment of fence to be removed and disposed of in accordance with the requirements in Section 02827, Fence Removal. There are approximately 14,927 linear feet of new 4-wire, all-wood post fence to be constructed in accordance with the drawings and Work Data Sheet. It is estimated to have each of the following: - Nineteen (19) stress panels (H-brace), - Zero (0) end panels, - Seven (7) 3-post corners, - Twelve (12) 16-foot wire gates, and - Seven (7) new X-gate wildlife crossing gates. Each wildlife crossing gate includes two (2) H-braces and wiring shown in the drawings. Leave any existing X-gate wildlife crossing gates.Specifics for Segment No. 2 - Sheep Fence on New Fork: Location: T30N, R109W, Sections 28 and 29 There are approximately 3,659 linear feet in this segment of fence to be removed and disposed of in accordance with the requirements in Section 02827, Fence Removal. There are approximately 3,659 linear feet of new 5-wire, all-wood post fence to be constructed in accordance with the drawings and Work Data Sheet. It is estimated to have each of the following: - Ten (10) stress panels (H-brace), - Four (4) end panels, - Zero (0) 3-post corners, - Two (2) 16-foot wire gates, and - Zero (0) new X-gate wildlife crossing gates.
