The City of Montpelier seeks a forward-thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP) to modernize its IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable services to support our community-s needs. The city is seeking qualified Information Technology (IT) Services Providers to manage and maintain the city-s IT infrastructure, including server and network administration, desktop support, security, and strategic planning. The city currently operates in a hybrid managed/virtual support model with a mix of on-premises and cloud-based services, including integration with Azure AD/Entra ID. The preferred MSP will provide comprehensive support to ensure the city-s IT systems enable municipal operations daily, with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability. The proposal should include an evaluation and plan to advance the city-s technologies, including a transition to a fully cloud-hosted environment, while addressing legacy systems and enhancing current managed services.
