Description:
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a pool of qualified Contractors for as-needed street resurfacing and related roadway improvements within the City of Homestead. Work may include milling, paving, and restoration of existing roadway surfaces, shoulders, and adjacent areas as designated in writing by the City. Work may also include other similar areas, such as parking lots.All work will be performed only when authorized through an individual Task Order or Purchase Order issued by the City under an awarded Contract(s).Bidders must be familiar with FHWA documentation, reimbursement, and project management requirements.The provisions of Title 23, United States Code (Highways), and 23 CFR (Highways) apply to this contractto ensure compliance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funding eligibility and reporting requirements.The City will require appropriate documentation and recordkeeping to support reimbursement eligibility for any federally funded work performed under this contract.
