- Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Bid/Quote for Project Title. This project includes the implementation of FSEP (Florida State Expenditure Plan) 13-3, artificial reef program ( see Attachment B-FSEP 13-3) consisting of the barging and deployment of 2,000 to 3,000 tons of processed concrete construction debris to Fish Haven #1, located in the Gulf of America, approximately 25 miles west of Homosassa, Florida.The County has already permitted Fish Haven #1 through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, permit #SAJ-1999-00814, which is good through April 18, 2027.The primary goal of this project is to restore and revitalize the Gulf Economy, additional reef acreage will allow for more recreational activity.
