Description:
Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Bid/Quote for Project Title.Services are needed to provide routine mowing of County right-of-way areas in District #11, Citrus Springs, Units 1-27, Row Width 60/80/100, (miles totaling approximately 416) for the purpose of controlling growth on shoulders, ditches, back slopes, and other grassed areas. It is recognized and understood that the prime purpose of grassed shoulders, ditches, and back-slopes is to control erosion, and secondly, to provide a stabilized recovery area. The Successful Bidder is, therefore, responsible for proper procedures to ensure the purpose of grassed recovery areas is not jeopardized by his or her activities.The Successful Bidder shall have at least one individual certified in Services Zone Safety Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T.), intermediate level on-site during each mowing event.
