Description:
The Town of Davie is seeking bids to do maintenance repairs to the Davie Golf Course drainage system located at 8201 Nova Drive, Davie FL 33324. The work consists of repairing, removing and replacing (3) three existing headwalls and (5) five existing bridges at different locations on the Golf Course as shown on the plans designed by Kimley Horn and Associates. The Davie Golf Course is a full-time functioning Town Park, and the contractor will need to coordinate with Golf Course management to access work areas and perform repairs with minimal disruptions to park activities and the adjacent community, and minimal damage to Golf Course grounds and playing surfaces. The engineering division has reviewed the plans; however, the contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required building and engineering permits. The Davie Golf Course drainage system is part of Central Broward Water Control District. They have reviewed the project and indicated a permit will not be required for this work. A soil study has been provided in the bid documents by the engineer of record. The Town will work with the selected contractor to designate a staging area for tools and equipment.Once the work is complete the selected contractor shall be responsible for submitting to the design engineer a certified record survey signed and sealed by a professional land surveyor. All survey costs will be the contractor-s responsibility. The contractor will be responsible for documenting and maintaining as-built information which shall be recorded as construction progresses and shall be responsible for providing as-built drawings for the owner and the Engineering Division for the purpose of certification.The estimated budget for this project is $700,000.
