THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 are incorporated. It is the contractor-s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This synopsis shall be posted on both SAM and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil) NAMI requires four (4) GaumardCare Premium warranty plans based on the GaumardCares Premium Service Plan Agreement.This includes repair and preventative maintenance services, along with technical support, parts, labor, and shipping for covered issues. The plan explicitly does not cover damage from misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or issues with third-party components. The PSC code for this requirement is J065 and NAICS 811210.The proposed is a sole source acquisition for the GaumardCare Premium warranty plan justified under 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 13.501(a) due to the unique qualifications and proprietary nature of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Gaumard-s products.
