- Pierce County (hereafter referred to as “County”) is seeking proposals for a performance-based, shared medical treatment obligation contract to provide comprehensive, on-site medical services to individuals in custody at the Pierce County Jail (PC Jail) and Adult Status Youth (ASY) housed either at Remann Hall or the PC Jail.The scope of services includes all legally required and medically necessary care, encompassing medical, dental, pharmacy, routine mental health screenings and prescribing, as well as both medical and mental health-related pharmaceutical services. Required care may include coordination of outpatient and inpatient services as appropriate. Full implemented Medical Services need to be delivered in the Jail before or no later than February 16, 2026. Jail medical services are currently provided in several locations within the jail facility, including the booking area, the jail medical clinic, and various housing units.
