Background:
The Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) installation, operated by Mission Support and Test Services (MSTS) , comprising approximately 3,561 square kilometers (1,375 square miles) of federally owned land located in southeastern Nye County, Nevada. It is located approximately 105 kilometers (65 miles) northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada, and is accessed from U.S. Highway 95, which roughly forms the southern boundary of the site.
Opportunity Description:
MSTS requires the services of a qualified subcontractor to provide Janitorial Services:
Subcontractor shall furnish adequate supervision to ensure that work is performed in a satisfactory manner. Subcontractor shall maintain surveillance over personnel employed to perform work on this subcontract. Subcontractorshall provide Contractor with the names of all personnel performing work on this subcontract and shall advise the Contractor, within 24 hours of any changes in personnel. The subcontracted work will require access to secure areas. Such access will require a facility clearance for the Subcontractororganization and access authorizations (security clearances) for Subcontractor personnel working within the secure areas. The subcontracted work will be performed in two major complexes: the RSL (approximately 300 employees), and the North Las Vegas Facility (NLV) (approximately 1000 employees). A representative of the Subcontractor must be available onsite at the North Las Vegas Facility during core hours of operation, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (PST), Monday through Friday. A representative of the Subcontractor must be available onsite at the Nellis RSL Facility during the core hours of operation, 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (PST), Monday through Friday.
