Description:
The Aviation Authority, on behalf of the Facilities Department, Building Services group, is soliciting responses to procure janitorial supplies, parts, and equipment under firm/fixed price, Blanket Purchase Order contract(s) with one or more qualified supplier(s). The Aviation Authority will use these items in any areas for which it maintains ownership and responsibility within the City of Orlando, including but not limited to, the Orlando International Airport (MCO), the MCO Train Station, and any Satellite Buildings. The purpose of this solicitation is to receive competitive, sealed responses for the items listed in the Pricing Table section of this Solicitation.Award(s) will be made based on the lowest cost and best value. The Aviation Authority exclusively reserves the sole right to make an award in whole or in part or any varying combination (split bid) deemed to be in the best interest of the Aviation Authority. Moreover, if it is deemed to be within the best interest of the Aviation Authority, the sole right to award all items to more than one Respondent (multiple award contracts) is reserved. If multiple awards are granted, the Aviation Authority may purchase goods from one or more awarded Respondents.The award of this solicitation will result in multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for various janitorial supplies, provided on an “as-needed” basis, for a twenty-four (24) month period. The intent is to award both primary and secondary suppliers where secondary suppliers will be engaged only when the primary suppliers cannot meet fulfillment. Respondent may bid on all or some items, however, the Aviation Authority reserves the right to exercise Respondent reduction (limit the number of awards made), if such action is determined to be in the best interest of the Aviation Authority.The selected Respondent will provide products listed in the Pricing Table for a period of 24 months starting on or about October 1, 2025.
