This amendment is to address the following:
The addition of line item currently identified as 0001 which was previously omitted. The line-item description is T7039 GTR 8000 Base Radio (quantity - 2). Clarify the background information as to the type of system being procured: An emergency radio communication system for the facility is required for personnel to communicate statewide via VHF Radio with ambulance and other emergency response entities. The current system is a VHF system and is very outdated and hard to get parts for. A new VHF system is needed to provide the proper signal to communicate statewide. To meet these needs, a VHF system must be procured with all components necessary for the system to send and receive signals statewide over the VHF state emergency broadcast system.
