JOB ORDER CONTRACT - Construction, Region C (DE, MD, VA, WV)
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry capabilities to support the 99th Readiness Division (RD) for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for facilities construction, maintenance and repair in Region C, which consists of the following states: Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Reference the DRAFT Specifications of Work (SOW) document attached to this notice for the detailed requirement.
PROGRAM BACKGROUND
The 99th RD has a requirement for Region C that requires facilities construction, maintenance and repair. The Contractor shall be required to provide labor, supervision, property maintenance and repairs of reserve facilities in Region C. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is five (5), 12-month Ordering Periods. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price range for this requirement is: More than $10,000,000.
The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if/when a requirement materializes. This requirement is anticipated to be set aside 100% for small businesses in the 8(a) program, on a competitive basis. Multiple awards are expected to be made as a result of a Request for Proposal (RFP), if/when posted. The anticipated [up to] number of Awards will likely be determined by the outcome of this sources sought and resultant market research.
