Description:
The Town of Queen Creek is accepting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide directional drilling, Jack and Bore and Micro tunneling, and Potholing Services. Subsequent projects resulting from this contract will range in size and scope and at locations throughout the jurisdiction of the Town of Queen Creek. Complexity of projects will also vary and may require permittable plans and specifications prepared by professional consultants contracted directly by the Town; however, job orders with minor scope complexities, that would not require sealed plans and specifications may be completed by means of detailed scope of work documents and other specifications or special provisions prepared by the Town, in conjunction with the JOC contractor. The Town intends to enter contracts with up to three (3) qualified JOC Contractor(s) who are capable of self-performing and/or sub-contracting directional drilling, Jack and Bore and Mirco tunneling, and Potholing Services and other related contraction services per Town of Queen Creek and American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards.The resulting term contract will be for an initial two (2) year term with an option, at the Town-s sole discretion, to extend annually for three (3) additional, one-year periods for a total length of contract not to exceed five (5) years total. Renewal of the contract will be based on the successful performance by the JOC contractor and the needs of the Town. Any individual Job Order maximum amount will not exceed $3,000,000 unless a higher amount is approved by the Town.
