This is for Market Research Purposes Only, Intent to Sole Source Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract (base year and four option years) to the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD), a California State governmental agency recognized by state statute under California Public Resources Code Section 5500 et. Seq., 1934 as a Special District Governmental Authority. These activities under this requirement will include routine site visit patrols by sworn police officers, response to calls for service and criminal incidents, routine investigations of incidents and/or crimes, periodic incidental aerial patrols by air unit (do not require on-site landings), dispatch services of personnel by the 9-1-1 communication center, maintenance of law enforcement records, and supervision and management of personnel performing law enforcement services. The VA property also has a large amount of shoreline. The security provided must have arresting authority on both the land and the water, this service cannot be provided by a security company.Period of Performance (POP): 4/1/2023 3/31/2024 plus four option years.(Estimated)A draft statement of work is attached.
