Description:
The intent of this solicitation is to enter into a contract with qualified individuals and/or companies that provide and facilitate officiating services. The officiating services for junior high sports will be evaluated on abilities, qualifications, cost, and responsiveness. Mesa Public Schools spends approximately $80,000 - $85,000 in officiating services each school year.Mesa Public Schools is comprised of eleven (11) junior high schools (please see attachments sections for a list of schools and addresses). All competitions are intramural and will require officiating services as outlined in the Pricing Proposal.Junior High Athletics (JHA) Specifications:Junior High Athletics is an extension of Mesa Public Schools Community Education Department. JHA is focused on the overall development of student athletes, from grades 7 & 8, to prepare them for a successful athletic future. JHA provides various athletic opportunities and competitions for the sports listed below. JHA competitions will be held after-school and on Saturdays and include the following sports:Boys/Girls Flag FootballBoys/Girls BasketballBaseballSoftballBoys/Girls SoccerBoys/Girls VolleyballBoys/ Girls WrestlingThis is not an all or nothing solicitation, vendors may respond to all sports or specific sports listed in this RFP.
