NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE
The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Randolph, Texas, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Kalahari Resort (Unique Entity ID C4ZLG9MFSFL5), 3001 Kalahari Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665, for the purchase of three 2- nights and 3-day event, from June 6-8, 2025, June 27-29, 2025, and August 22-24, 2025 to host a 688 CW Chaplin Corps retreat event. The Family Retreat is intended to assist military personnel to develop personal and spiritual resources and to grow toward increased functional ability, mental toughness, spiritual maturity, and acceptance of responsibility. Personnel learn to resolve personal and professional concerns to be of greater useful service in their military occupations and relationships. The facility must be no more than two hours away from Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. The resort must include a variety of amenities and activities such as rock climbing, a water park, bowling, conference facility capabilities, dining, etc. The proposed contract action is to solicit and negotiate with Kalahari Resort under the authority of FAR 13.106- l(b)(l)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses will be used to determine if there are other entities that can meet the requirement for future retreats.
