Synopsis
The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIBB, Wright-Patterson AFB is conducting Market Research, in accordance with FAR Part 10, to identify possible sources for a Karl Fischer Titrator which will be purchased for the Air Force Petroleum Office Laboratory Division (AFPET) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Specifications for the required Titrator are included in Attachment 1 entitled “Statement of Work”, and instructions for submittal are located in Attachment 2 entitled "Sources Sought Instructions".

This Sources Sought is solely for information and planning, the intended purpose is to identify potential sources that may be able to produce a Karl Fischer Titrator meeting the appropriate specifications. This Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or any promise to issue an RFP in the future. Furthermore, AFPET is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Sources Sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information/administrative costs incurred by responding to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the responding party-s expense. All submissions will become Government property and will not be returned. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent action. However, a small business set-aside decision has not yet been made.
