- Bulletin Desc : The Illinois EPA is looking to purchase a pilothouse boat, V-hull, fiberglass, aluminum, or steel within below specs are acceptable, motors and trailer. Boat is for conducting water quality monitoring activities on Lake Michigan as part of Illinois EPA's Lake Michigan Monitoring Program. Boat will regularly be navigated up to 5km offshore, and trailered as part of normal use to boat launches along Illinois' 63 miles of shoreline on Lake Michigan.
