The permit is general in nature and will cover winter off-road travel on state land north of the Brooks Range between the Colville and Canning Rivers. Specific projects will be approved on a case-by-case basis.LEGAL DESCRIPTION: State land within the Umiat Meridian, including shorelands, tidelands, and submerged lands.REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Winter off-road travel, primarily on the North Slope Borough Community Winter Access Trails, to transport freight.
