Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District on behalf of the Marine Design Center (MDC), intends to initiate an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of a steel-hulled deck barge. The barge is intended to be used as a landing for the Ensley Engineer Yard (EEY) maintenance facility, located in Memphis, Tennessee.

For this requirement, the contractor shall include, as a minimum, all costs to provide and deliver the following:

Using the contract and reference drawings provided in the procurement package, complete the design for production and fabrication of the barge. Fabricate barge in accordance with the specifications of this contract. Test all barge related equipment, systems, piping, and electrical systems. Deliver the completed barge to a designated location. Final Acceptance Demonstrations at the Corps- designated point of Final Acceptance of the completed barge.
A contract level design for the barge will be provided as part of the forthcoming solicitation.

The principal dimensions of the barge shall be as follows:

Period of Performance will be determined at the issuance of the solicitation.
