- Description:
- The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The selected contractor shall be required to furnish all materials, labor, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform comprehensive ground maintenance services. The intent of this contract is to provide supplemental grounds maintenance services, on an as-needed basis, to help maintain a clean and attractive appearance of public grounds surrounding municipal buildings, city parks, and athletic fields. Work sites maintained by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism are identified herein. These sites are organized into zones, which are detailed on under “Schedule of Supplies/Services,” and collectively total approximately 1,146 acres.
